JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD plans to create a main performance indicator system (IKU) or key performance indicators (KPI) for officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, revealed that in this system, the legislature will provide an assessment of the performance achievements of regional heads of devices based on the programs implemented.

If the performance is considered not good, the DPRD can propose the removal of positions, and related officials will be transferred to other regional apparatus.

"For 50 percent to 60 percent, our suggestion later in this official leadership meeting must be replaced because they cannot work, only 50 percent of the results are 60 percent," said Khoirudin at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Tuesday, June 10.

Then if the results of the KPI of officials have a value of 70 percent, the DPRD will recommend that the person concerned improve his performance.

"If it's 90 percent, this should be appreciated by the promotion of positions," said Khoirudin.

In addition, Khoirudin also suggested that the DKI Provincial Government use the results of the KPI assessment from the DPRD to have an impact on the nominal regional performance allowance (TKD) of each official.

"We also don't want a significant TKD in the DKI Jakarta Regional Government to make our officials feel comfortable in a concert zone that is so not creative, not innovative without KPI," he explained.

In the plan to draft KPI, the DPRD wants to improve the function of legislative supervision in knowing the extent of the success of the programs run by the DKI Provincial Government.

The chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKS DPW admitted that so far the role of the DPRD regarding the supervisory function to the executive ranks has been less effective. In organizing work meetings, the assessment is only attached to the absorption of the budget.

"I hope this will be an example for other provinces in Indonesia because this is only the first time. Our supervisory function has only rotated to what percentage can be absorbed," said Khoirudin.

"We have never followed up further on absorption that has been absorbed by each OPD, what impact it will have on the regional budget," he added.
