JAKARTA - Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH), Mukhlis M. Hanafi, emphasized that services for Indonesian pilgrims who choose the nafar Tsani scheme will still be given in full up to 13 Dzulhijjah 1446 H. This affirmation also refuted false news that said that the pilgrims of nafar Tsani would not receive services at Mina.
"Services, whether in the form of tents or consumption, will remain available until all pilgrims return to their respective hotels in Makkah. Nothing is left behind," said Mukhlis when giving a statement in Makkah on Saturday (8/6/2025).
He explained that there were two schemes for returning pilgrims from Mina to Makkah:
Nafar Awal: Jamaah who stayed (mabit) in Mina until 12 Dzulhijjah. They will be dispatched back to the hotel before sunset on that day.
Nafar Tsani: Jamaah chose to pay up to 13 Dzulhijjah. They will be escorted back to the hotel since the morning on that date.

"Congregants are given the freedom to choose between initial nafar or nafar Tsani. We are currently recording their choice so that pick-up and other services can be adjusted appropriately," said Mukhlis.
Based on previous years' experience, about 60 percent of pilgrims chose early nafar, while another 40 percent chose nafar tsani. However, this year's data is still in the reconciliation process.
Mukhlis emphasized that regardless of the choice of the mabit scheme taken by the congregation, PPIH guarantees that the service will continue until the entire series of mabit in Mina is completed on 13 Dzulhijjah.
"Don't believe rumors that are not true. PPIH is committed to providing the best service until the end," he said.
