Polda Metro Jaya Affirms TNI Service Cars Entering The Transjakarta Line Are Still Ticketed

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya explained that four-wheeled vehicles with official plates passing on the Transjakarta route will still be subject to a ticket.

"As I have often explained, now all vehicles that have committed violations must be captured by the ETLE camera. Want a black plate, want a red plate, it has been captured and the STNK is automatically blocked," said Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin in his statement, Friday 6 June, confiscated by Antara.

Regarding the official car recorded by ETLE committing a violation, Komarudin said that his party had coordinated with each agency.

"For official vehicles, the captured results are handed over if the Police go directly to Propam, for the TNI, they go directly to the Military Police," he said.

Komarudin added that the ETLE that is being developed is technology-based law enforcement which is more objective and just.

"So all the behavior of the driver must be captured (arrested)," he said.

He also added that he was still investigating the timing and place of the incident.

"I have also conveyed to my members, focus on overcoming traffic jams, for violations it is captured by the camera, it cannot be offered again if the camera," said Komarudin.

Meanwhile, when confirmed about police officers who saluted the official car that entered the Transjakarta route, Komarudin said it was normal.

"If the officer pays respect to the official car, I think it's just a normal thing," he said.

"An official official car was recorded entering the special Transjakarta busway lane. In the recording, two police officers were involved in saluting when the car passed," the account wrote.
