JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto again provided assistance to sacrificial animals in the form of 58 cows for his neighbors in Babakanmadang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, ahead of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah.
Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto during the distribution of sacrificial animals in Bojongkoneng Village expressed his appreciation for President Prabowo's consistent attention in providing assistance to sacrificial animals every year, especially to residents living around his private residence in the Bogor area.
"We express our deepest gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for the assistance of sacrificial animals given to the people of Bogor Regency. This is not the first time, he is never absent from providing assistance every year," said Rudy as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 5.
According to Rudy, the total number of sacrificial animals distributed is 58 cows. Some of them are superior cows that have won contests in terms of weight and quality.
One of the cows handed over was a limousine with a weight of 1,288 kilograms.
"But there are still some other cows whose weight is even heavier than that," he said.
