The Attorney General's Office monitors the whereabouts of businessman Riza Chalid in connection with the alleged corruption case of crude oil governance and refinery products at PT Pertamina Subholding and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) in 2018-2023.
"It seems that it has not been (examined) because its whereabouts are still being monitored," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the AGO Harli Siregar as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 5.
This was conveyed by Kapuspenkum Harli Siregar in response to reporters' questions about whether Riza Chalid had been questioned by investigators for his connection with the corruption case in the management of crude oil.
Kapuspenkum said investigators were working with various parties in monitoring the presence of the oil boss.
"If the media also has information, yes, tell them to be clear where they are," he added.
Riza Chalid's relationship in this case was that his son, Muhammad Kerry Andrianto Riza (MKAR) was named one of the suspects in his capacity as a beneficial owner of PT Navigator Khatulistiwa.
Investigators have also searched Riza Chalid's house several times, located on Jalan Jenggala, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, which is suspected of being used as an office.
