Dedi Mulyadi Attends The 543rd HJB, Encourages The Preservation Of Pakuan Pajajaran Heritage

BOGOR Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, attended the plenary meeting to commemorate the 543rd Bogor Anniversary (HJB) which was held at the Bogor City DPRD Building, Jalan Pemuda, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. On this occasion, Dedi invited the Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim, and the ranks of the Bogor City Government to jointly build a historic area called Pakuan Pajajaran Village.

According to Dedi, the village will raise elements of Pakuan Pajajaran's history and civilization as Sundanese cultural heritage. Its development will use a budget from the West Java Provincial Government.

"I invite the Mayor of Bogor to prepare an area to build a village called Pakuan Pajajaran Village, as a reminder for residents of Bogor City and the historical center of Sundanese civilization centered in Bogor," said Dedi in his remarks.

He also emphasized the importance of protecting Bogor land as an heirloom land that should not be damaged.

"Who loves Bogor, his life will be noble. Who insults Bogor, his life will be difficult forever," he said.

Since the beginning of his tenure, Dedi admitted that he had focused on managing the Bogor area because he was confident that the arrangement of this city would have an impact on West Java's overall progress.

"It's just the courage. I have also invited the Bogor Regent to destroy a destructive legacy from the past. There is no need to be afraid, because anyone who lives here must respect the law. You must not be arrogant in Tanah Bogor, because you can pray to King Pajajaran," he said.

Dedi also highlighted the historical value of the city of Bogor, which he said must be maintained and developed in line with the changing times without forgetting the traces of the past.

Meanwhile, Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim said that the commemoration of Bogor's 543rd Anniversary is a valuable momentum to remember history, be grateful for the progress that has been achieved, and look to the future with optimism.

He appreciated the role of the previous leaders, community leaders, and residents who had built this city. According to him, this spirit is reflected in Sundanese expression: "In Nu Kiwari Ngancik Nu Bihari Seja Ayeuna Sampereun."

Dedie also invited all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Bogor City Government to take this warning as a reminder in prioritizing the interests of the community.

With the spirit of hard work and professionalism, Dedie is optimistic that people's expectations can be realized through bureaucratic services that are responsive and qualified in achieving the vision for the next five years, Bogor Is Complete, Bogor Maju.

"Let's unite and strive to give our best in solving various problems and challenges of the city. Even though the challenges faced are complex, with sincerity, consistency, and a spirit of never giving up, I'm sure we can overcome it together," he concluded.
