Women With Special Needs In Tangsel Allegedly Harassed By Their Teachers

TANGERANG - A student with special needs (Disability) with the initials HP (17) is suspected of being a victim of sexual harassment by her teacher at a special school in the Ciputat area, Tangerang City.

It is known that the victim with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is suspected of being a victim of alleged sexual harassment by unscrupulous teachers at his school.

Spokesperson for the victim's family, Muhammad Cahyadi, said the incident was revealed when his mother saw a significant change in behavior in her child.

He said that his son suddenly took actions that had never been done before.

"The victim's mother suspects a change because the victim begins to show behavior such as holding and squeezing the vital parts of the mother. This is a behavior that has never previously appeared," said Cahyadi, Monday, June 2.

Furthermore, the victim's mother who was suspicious tried to approach her slowly and with a heart.

Initially, the victim's mother tried to ask about friends at school. All answered well by the victim. However, a different response appeared when the name of one of the male teachers was mentioned.

The victim's mother tells the story one by one, asking the name of the teacher one by one. When we call the ex (suspected perpetrator) male, what happened, the victim said 'It's evil, it's evil, it's evil'," he explained.

The victim's mother also continued to take a communication approach that is usually used in the family.

One of them is the word "pocah-pocah", a term that refers to physical actions such as holding or squeezing body parts.

When asked about the initials of the teacher, Cahyadi was reluctant to answer. He asked the police themselves to mention the initials of the alleged perpetrator.

"Are you asked by X (the name of the teacher)?" asked the victim's mother.

"Yes" the child then replied.

After hearing the confession, the victim's parents immediately contacted the homeroom teacher and submitted the allegation to the school.

Then the victim's family reported the incident to the South Tangerang Police with registration number TBL/B/583/11/2025/SPKT/SPERANG SELATAN POLICE POLDA METRO JAYA on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at around 11.45 WIB.

Not only that, they also reported it to the National Protection and Rehabilitation Commission (KPRN) and the National Commission for Disabilities (KND).

Then the victim's family took a post-mortem at Serpong Hospital at a referral from the South Tangerang Police. The results found a number of physical injuries that led to allegations of sexual harassment.

"We found tearing in the victim's vaginal area at 1 and 4 o'clock, as well as bruises on the right breast. There are strong indications of pressure or packaging. However, because it has been two weeks since the incident, the color has started to fade," he explained.

The results of the post-mortem were then submitted to the South Tangerang Women and Children Protection Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD PPA), and have been forwarded to the South Tangerang Police as material for further investigation.
