Seala explained that initially the case was revealed starting from the victim who complained to her parents about her being abused by the alleged perpetrator.
Hearing this, the victim's parents complained to the Pesanggrahan Police Headquarters, for further action.
The police, who received the information, immediately conducted an investigation by examining a number of witnesses.
"(Based on the victim's confession) They admitted that they were often harassed by suspects and several other small children with the lure of pocket money and then abused them," said Seala.
A total of seven personnel were deployed by conducting TKP checks, witness data collection and surveillance cameras (CCTV), to securing the perpetrators.
Currently, the case is being handled by the South Jakarta Metro Police's female and child service unit (PPA) for further processing.
