Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said Jasa Marga recorded an increase in traffic volume (traffic) during the long holiday period of the 2025 Jesus Christ Ascension Day on Jasa Marga Group toll roads based on the cumulative numbers of the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikampek Utama (direction to Trans Java), GT Kalihurip Utama (direction to Bandung) GT Cikupa (direction to Merak) and GT Ciawi (direction to Puncak).
"In the period H-1 to D+1 or Wednesday-Friday (28-30 May 2025) the total traffic leaving Jabotabek reached 477,299 vehicles, an increase of 11.5 percent when compared to normal traffic (427,906 vehicles) and the total traffic to Jabotabek was recorded at 422,368 vehicles in the same period, an increase of 6.0 percent from normal traffic (398,644 vehicles) totaling from four Main GTs," said Lisye in Jakarta, Saturday.
For the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek heading to three directions, namely with a majority of 216,121 vehicles (45.3 percent) heading East (Trans Java and Bandung), 144,374 vehicles (30.2 percent) heading West (Merak) and 116,804 vehicles (24.5 percent) heading South (Puncak). "In the D+1 period of the 2025 Jesus Christ Ascension Day holiday, Jasa Marga recorded traffic returning to Jabotabek, for Kalihurip Utama GT as many as 32,515 vehicles, an increase of 7.8 percent from normal traffic (30,216 vehicles), and GT Ciawi with 38,299 vehicles, an increase of 19.0 percent from normal traffic (32,171 vehicles)," he said.
