The Regional Office Of The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights Is Ready To Facilitate The Legality Of The Establishment Of KMP

The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Kalimantan and the Central Kalimantan Village Community Empowerment Service coordinated regarding the legality of the formation of KMP. (ANTARA)

PALANGKA RAYA - Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, Central Kalimantan (Kanwil Kemenkum Kalteng) is ready to facilitate the legality of the formation of the Red and White Cooperative (KMP) in the local province.

"Division of Legal Services and the General Public Public Relations Administration Division have also coordinated with the Central Kalimantan Province Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD) to discuss the legality of the newly formed KMP," said Head of the Legal Service Division, Joko Martanto in Palangka Raya, Saturday.

He said the meeting was part of an effort to accelerate the implementation of the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of the Establishment of the Red and White Village Cooperative.

"The goal is to strengthen the economic structure of rural and sub-district communities throughout Indonesia through the cooperative business model until June 30, 2025," he said.

Joko Martanto said the collaboration between the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Kalimantan and the local PMD Office and other relevant stakeholders was very important to continue to improve and ensure that the process of forming cooperatives continued as targeted.

"Previously, we also encouraged Notaries in the Central Kalimantan region to provide the best service for villages/kelurahan who are ready to propose the establishment of the intended Cooperative," he said.

He also hopes that through this meeting, he can exchange the latest data information related to the progress of the village/kelurahan in submitting the formation of the Merah Putih Cooperative.

"As of today, 70 villages/kelurahan have been recorded which have been issued by the Decree of the Legal Entity," said the Head of the Legal Service Division, Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Kalimantan.

Notary representative Pioni Naviari said that until now the central government continues to provide policies and convenience for villages/kelurahan that will apply for the formation of the Red and White Cooperative to the Notary.

"Hopefully the file submitted is complete so that the establishment process and the legal entity can be completed quickly and precisely," he said.

The Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Office of Central Kalimantan Province welcomed the collaboration and support of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and Notaries in an effort to accelerate the Establishment of the Red and White Cooperative.

"Of course we will continue to encourage the acceleration of the establishment of the Red and White Village Cooperative, in accordance with our portion, namely to be able to complete the Village/Kelurahan Deliberation which has been carried out to this day around 717 Musdes/Kelurahan in the Central Kalimantan Region," he said.

The PMD Office continues to play an active role in the mentoring process, and facilitation to villages and sub-districts that will form cooperatives.

"We are sure and let's pray together that this progress can be achieved according to the time determined by the Central Government, of course with the support of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and other related agencies such as the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs of Central Kalimantan," said Aryawan.
