He revealed that the three suspects were caught in a case of alleged corruption in the issuance of the Regent of Barut's decree regarding the granting of mining business permits from 2009-2012.
He explained that this case began after the enactment of RI Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining which was promulgated on January 12, 2009, the issuance of a Mining Business Permit (IUP) must go through the auction process of the Mining Business Permit Area (WIUP).
However, to obtain a Mining Business License (IUP) by avoiding the mining business license (WIUP) auction process, PT. Pagun Taka submitted a request for mining area backup.

Dodik also revealed that the Regent's Decree on the Approval of the Revenue of the Mining Area of PT. Pagun Taka was finally signed by the Regent of Barut, which at that time was held by AY.

Pagun Taka was issued without going through the WIUP auction process, resulting in the state losing PNBP which should have been obtained from the WIUP auction process.
"The state loss as a result of the actions of the suspects amounted to Rp5,842,855,000 based on the calculation from the Central Kalimantan Province BPKP Representative," he said.
Dodik revealed that the three suspects were charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) jo. Article 3 jo. Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
