The Governor's Staff Regarding The Pramono Anung Performance Survey Ranks Fifth: The People Of Jakarta Are Critical

Pramono Anung is ranked fifth in the survey on the level of public satisfaction with the performance of governors throughout Java (Instagram/@pramonoanungw).

JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta for Public Communication, Cyril wary Hakim or Chico Hakim, said that Jakarta residents tend to be heterogeneous and critical. They are not easily satisfied with the work that Pramono Anung-Rano Karno has done.

This was conveyed by Chico in response to a survey by Indonesian Political Indicators which showed that the level of public satisfaction with Pramono's performance was in fifth position throughout Java.

"The people of Jakarta who are more heterogeneous from other areas and the average level of education is also far above other areas, of course it affects a more critical attitude and is not easily satisfied," Chico told reporters, Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Even so, Chico said the results of this survey would be of concern to his side. In addition, the continuation of the program that has been initiated will continue to be a concern.

"In principle, working by system and programs are prioritized by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government under the leadership of Pramono Anung," he said.

Previously reported, the Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute released a poll on public perceptions of the performance of 100 days of governors in Java, namely Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and DI Yogyakarta.

As a result, the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi (KDM), achieved the highest performance satisfaction from its citizens, which was 94.7 percent. This survey took samples in Jakarta from 500 respondents; West Java, Central Java, and East Java each with 600 respondents; and Yogyakarta and Banten each with 400 respondents.

"Overall, Dedi Mulyadi is very high. It explains why the media often cover KDM because the rating is high. That's what distinguishes it from the governor elsewhere," Burhanuddin said in a press conference broadcast online, Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Second place is the Governor of DI Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, with performance satisfaction by its citizens of 83.8 percent. Then, the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, was in third place with 75.3 percent satisfaction.

"In East Java this is competitive. As we know, Khofifah is the only female governor in Java."

"He twice became governor in East Java, a fighter, because he had lost several times against Pakde Karwo (Soekarwo), getting 75 percent, I think it could be even higher if he used social media," said Burhanuddin.

After that, the satisfaction of performance with the Governor of Central Java, Ahmad Luthfi, took fourth place at 62.5 percent, followed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung with 60 percent performance satisfaction. Finally, the Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, with a satisfaction level of 50.8 percent.

Burhanuddin then explained why the level of satisfaction with Dedi Mulyadi's performance in West Java was higher than other governors, including Pramono Anung in Jakarta, who in fact is the capital city.

"In West Java, the level of satisfaction with the governor is very prominent compared to other regions."

"Most likely because after his inauguration as governor, Dedi Mulyadi was very active in going to the community to see firsthand and immediately take action on the various problems encountered."

"This does not happen to other governors, at least on the island of Java, so the response of residents is also not very prominent."

"In Jakarta, there is a job fair program, it is quite widely known to residents, but among those who know it looks less optimistic about the program," said Burhanuddin.
