JAKARTA - Hajj Organizing Officers (PPIH) ensure that the Nusuk Card for Indonesian pilgrims who have arrived in the Holy Land has been distributed with a percentage of 95 percent.

"Until now, there have been 185,075 pilgrims who have arrived in the Holy Land. 95 percent or 176,437 Indonesian pilgrims, both regular and special Hajj pilgrims, have received Nusuk Cards," said Head of Public Relations and Public Communication Bureau of the Ministry of Religion Akhmad Fauzin in Makkah, Tuesday, May 27, reported by ANTARA.

He said the Nusuk Card distributed was like a passport in order to enter Makkah. This Nusuk Card is issued by sharia (a hajj service company).

During this year's Hajj, PPIH 1446 H/2025 collaborated with eight sharia, namely Rifadah, Rawaf Mina, Mashariq Dzahabiyah or Sana Mashariq, Rifad, Mashariq Mutamyizah or Rakeen Mashariq, Dluyuful Bait, Rehlat wa Manafea, and MCDC.

"PPIH continues to strengthen coordination with sharia so that it accelerates the distribution of Nusuk Cards so that it can be immediately achieved 100 percent," he said.

Along with the end of the first wave of Hajj services in Medina, currently all Indonesian Hajj participants are concentrated in Makkah City. Makkah City is currently dense, especially in the mosque which is the center of congregational worship from various parts of the world.

Therefore, PPIH Saudi Arabia urges pilgrims to limit sunnah Umrah worship activities repeatedly. This is to avoid physical fatigue, given the current condition of the mosque.

The congregation was also asked to take advantage of time to explore the rituals of Hajj, both independently and with the worship guides in the boarding house.

"In-depth understanding of the rituals of Hajj will contribute to the quality of congregational worship," said Fauzin.

Given that the current weather in Makkah is around 41-43 degrees Celsius during the day, PPIH recommends mandatory worship activities, especially for the elderly, to be carried out in mosques in hotels.

"Referring to the opinion of the ulama, Fardu Prayers throughout the land of Haram, the reward is the same when praying at the mosque," he said.

The congregation is also advised to bring their identity if they go to a mosque or outside the hotel in the form of a Nusuk Card, bus card, and hotel number where they stay. They must ensure that their identity is not lost, left behind, or entrusted to other people.

"If you go to the mosque, make sure you are always in the group, don't separate yourself. Bring a shaved bag to store sandals, don't leave sandals to your partner or other people," he said.
