JAKARTA - The leadership period of the Governor-Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung-Rano Karno will enter 100 days this month. Since being sworn in on February 20, 2025, 100 days of his leadership will even be on May 29.
Pramono-Rano also has 40 priority programs which are targeted to be launched from the start on 100 working days. However, there is one flagship program that turns out to not be implemented in 100 days, namely the Jakarta Fund.

The idea to establish the Jakarta Fund was originally put forward by Pramono since the 2024 Pilkada campaign period. When elected as Governor of Jakarta, Pramono admitted that he would establish an investment management institution similar to the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA).
As an initial capital, Pramono will use more budget calculations (SiLPA) of the DKI Jakarta APBD of around Rp. 3 trillion. The funds will be invested professionally to become new income for regional treasury.
Apparently, the process of forming the Jakarta Fund is not that easy. The DKI Provincial Government needs to align the establishment of investment agencies in Jakarta with existing regulations.
"Indeed, it is related to the regulations on how Jakarta can create an entity to become an investment agency and others. So, the obstacles are there," Chico explained.
However, Chico emphasized that the majority of Pramono-Rano's 100-day flagship programs had been inaugurated and implemented over the past three months.
Some of them are updating KJP funds, launching transit-oriented areas (TOD) such as Blok M Hub, reducing public transportation services for 15 groups.
