JAKARTA - Member of Commission C of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDI-P faction, Hardiyanto Kenneth, inspects services at the Cengkareng Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Jakarta, Friday, May 23.

This step was taken following complaints from the public regarding patients who had not received a High Care Unit (HCU) and were still being held at the Emergency Installation (IGD) since Thursday, May 22, evening.

"So last night there were residents who complained via my Instagram, that's why I tried to respond. Today I met the person concerned. So, in principle, the husband of this mother needs an HCU room," Kenneth told reporters quoted on Saturday, May 24.

The complaint was made by Sri Astuti as the patient's wife, Sandi, who was convicted of having a nerve virus and spinal cord infection.

Kenneth said the six HCU rooms available at the Cengkareng Hospital were still full on Thursday, May 22, so that the Kusumah patient had not been able to enter the HCU.

"So it's been a full night (HCU room). After that I called the hospital leadership, doctor Lysbeth Pandjaitan. She was in a meeting, then left the meeting, she went downstairs. Thank God, thank God, I saw a response from Cengkareng Hospital. This is very good," said Kenneth.

After meeting directly with the patient's family and coordinating with the hospital, the patient was immediately transferred to the HCU at around 11.00 WIB.

Kenneth appreciated the quick response of the Cengkareng Hospital under the leadership of doctor Lysbeth. According to him, services at the hospital must be carried out from the heart by following the existing rules.

"In my opinion, this service is back to the heart. All the rules already exist. So the point is that the rules are implemented," said Kenneth.

Direktur Utama RSUD Cengkareng dokter Lysbeth Pandjaitan membenarkan bahwa ruangan HCU semalam sudah penuh.

"This morning we checked that it was empty and possible. With this visit, hopefully, we can work together again well to serve the community more quickly and accurately," he said.

Furthermore, regarding the queue in the emergency room, Lysbeth explained that her party has a bed management system (bed management system).

"For the queue list of patients for the ER, we have a bed management system that regulates patients who come, what time then in the room, it is also regulated whether there is a bed availability. They communicate digitally and also by phone," said Lysbeth.

According to him, the ER patient took approximately four hours to get a room.

"But indeed for some patients who need a room such as the ICU or HCU, that's when the treatment is for the old ICU, we need better management, but we can manage it," said Lysbeth.
