JAKARTA - The Director General (Dirjen) of Mashudi Penitentiary said that his institution had transferred 612 inmates or inmates to the Nusakambangan Correctional Institution (Lapas), Cilacap, Central Java.

In the future there will be as many as 394 prisoners who will also be transferred to Nusakambangan Prison.
The transfer, he said, was carried out from May to July 2025.
"As many as 394 inmates will be held in 17 Regional Offices of the Director General of Corrections," he said.
