JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will solve the problem of brawls that often carry out brawls by inviting residents to sit together.

The plan is that Pramono will listen to explanations from residents to find the main cause of the brawl in Manggarai and his elimination steps. Thus, the position of the DKI Provincial Government in this case is not limited to judging the residents of Manggarai.

"I will invite the warring groups there. There are RW 4, RW 5, how many RWs are there. Sitting together. What is the real root of the problem? Because I can only blame it," Pramono said when met in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, May 13.

This sitting activity, continued Pramono, will be carried out in the Manggarai Berselawat program involving relevant stakeholders.

"Because the majority in Manggarai are Muslim religions. The prayers are diligent, but the brawls are also frequent. So this is to be reconciled together," said Pramono.

In Pramono's view, one of the main causes of the brawl in Manggarai can be triggered because the residents do not have jobs that keep them busy every day. In addition, the lack of productive activities in the area.

"I have studied. One of the factors is the disadvantage of many children there. Those who apologize do not have a permanent job. Then there are sports facilities and other facilities that are not well utilized," he explained.

On the other hand, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Satpol PP together with the TNI and Polri created an integrated post on the border of Jalan Tambak-Sultan Agung, Manggarai, South Jakarta, in the aftermath of the brawl of residents in different areas.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Satriadi Gunawan said the integrated post was to prevent brawls between residents of Central Jakarta and South Jakarta.

According to Satriadi's statement, the group of residents involved in the brawl in the Manggarai area was caused by several factors.

"Reports from the public there are those who say that the diversion of drug trafficking, content, and offenses. We are still looking for the exact cause. We still can't confirm it," he said.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will provide guidance to sub-district heads, village heads, RT/RW, community leaders, local religious leaders so that brawls between residents do not happen again.

"From us, coaching through sub-district heads, village heads, RT/RW, community leaders, religious leaders should not happen again," he said.
