Bogor City Government Responsibility Of Medical Costs For MBG Food Toxic Cases

BOGOR - The Bogor City Government (Pemkot) is committed to covering the medical expenses for the case of Free Nutrition Food (MBG) poisoning from the Kitchen of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Bosowa Bina Insani, Sukapeace, Tanah Sareal.

"Information on the cost of treating poisoning cases that have occurred so far in several Bogor City schools will be borne by the Bogor City Government. However, technically it will still be coordinated further," said Dedie Rachim, in his statement Friday, May 9.

He added that the Bogor City Government itself is currently still focusing on registering students and accelerating the results of sample tests so that they can better determine the cause and where the weak points must be corrected.

In addition, the Bogor City Government is also still waiting for the results of the examination of the vomit sample and samples from the MBG kitchen.

"The testing of various samples that have been obtained is being carried out on a microbiological basis at the Bogor City Labkesda and takes 4 days," said Dedie Rachim.

Dedie Rachim added that the tests carried out included 4 stages, namely Pre-Corruption, Selective Financing, Plating Out, and Confirmation.

Furthermore, the Health Office continues to coordinate with exposed schools. If there are additional cases, Dedie Rachim emphasizes to coordinate with hospitals so that patients are handled properly.

"If the complaint occurs after consuming food, you can immediately access health services at the nearest Puskesmas or the Health Service through the PSC 119 call center," said Dedie Rachim.
