The General Election Commission (KPU) of Pesawaran Regency stated that the campaign stage in the 2024 Pilkada Re-voting (PSU) had officially started on Wednesday, May 7, but without holding a general meeting.
Pesawaran KPU member, Dede Fadilah, explained that all campaign activities carried out by candidate pairs had been agreed upon and limited according to the joint regulations of the KPU, Bawaslu, and candidate pairs liaison.
"The campaign will last until May 20, but there will be no general meeting. The method has been arranged together," said Dede when confirmed from Bandarlampung, Antara, Thursday, May 8.
He also mentioned that the two candidate pairs, namely Supriyanto Suriansyah and Nanda Indira Antonius, had submitted the Campaign Fund Initial Report (LADK) on time on Tuesday, May 6.
Regarding logistical readiness, all PSU equipment has arrived at the KPU warehouse since Monday, May 5, although 13 ballots were still found damaged during the multiplicating process.
