JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated 59 echelon II officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government consisting of the mayor-deputy mayor, regent-deputy regent, head of service, head of agency, head of bureau, to the director of RSUD.

"With today's inauguration, we hope that now this City Hall team, the DKI Jakarta government is complete. We will work more seriously, to answer more about the wishes and challenges of the community," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, May 7.

Referring to Article 162 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 10 Year 2016 concerning Regional Head Elections, regional heads are prohibited from replacing officials within 6 months from the inauguration.

The new regional head can reshuffle the jiak regional officials and have received written approval from the minister.

Responding to this, Pramono claimed that the appointment of dozens of DKI Provincial Government officials had been approved by the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

"We have received approval from the State Civil Service Agency. Second, we have received approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The third has received a recommendation from the DKI Jakarta DPRD. So that all conditions have been met," said Pramono.

Initially, there were 61 officials who would be appointed by Pramono. However, there are two positions that have not been allowed to be filled by elected candidates for officials.

"Now there are only two who are still Plt, but in the near future we will finish it. Two of them, one is the Water Resources Service (SDA), the other is the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD)," he said.

Based on the provisions, two officials who will receive promotions to become the Head of the Natural Resources Service and the Head of BPBD can only be sworn in in June.

"Indeed, there are rules for playing in echelon promotions, it can be done on April 1 or June 1. Because April 1 has passed, echelon which increases takes time," Pramono explained.
