"The incident began when the victim, on behalf of Ozam (name) aged 27, swam around 00.30 WITA with four friends," said Head of the Bali Basarnas Office I Nyoman Sidakarya Tuesday, May 6.
The Jordanian foreigner was immediately swept away by the current and disappeared while swimming ahead of the turn of the day.

Finally, Basarnas Bali received a report that foreigners were swept away on Batu Belig Beach at around 06.05 WITA from Polair.

The team finally got off using a rubber boat to comb around the location where the victim was swept away by the current.
The search started at 08.00 WITA this morning but has not found a bright spot for the Jordanian foreigner.
