Set The Suspect Of Subsidized Fuel Misappropriation, Police Open The Kabil Gas Station Seal In Riau Islands

The Indonesian National Police - The police have unsealed the seal or police line at the Kabil gas station, Riau Islands (Kepri), after the determination of the suspect in the alleged case of misuse of subsidized fuel.

Kasubdit IV Ditreskrimsus Polda Kepri AKBP Zamrul Aini said the lifting of the seal was carried out after the end of the sanctions imposed by Pertamina.

"So the sanctions from Pertamina have been completed, because many people need Pertalite, so maybe today our police line is open, today (SPBU) can serve the community," said Zamrul in Batam, Tuesday, May 6, quoted by Antara.

Although the seal was opened, and began serving, investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Kepri had confiscated the gas station's "nozzle".

"According to the prosecutor's instructions, we confiscated it as evidence," he said.

Zamrul said that his party had named one person as a suspect in the case, after an investigation was carried out.

"We have raised the gas station case to the investigation stage, we have named one suspect," he said.

However, Zamrul is not yet willing to reveal the suspect's initials, because it will be officially released tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7 at the Riau Islands Regional Police.

In this investigation, he said, his party had examined 15 witnesses and would schedule expert witnesses.

This case stems from uploading videos of netizens who are disappointed because the Kabil gas station does not serve Pertalite's sales for motorists, but instead serves buyers with jerry cans.

The violation was revealed on Sunday 27 April at 03.20 WIB, when the Kabil gas station digitization system experienced disruption.

The Kabil gas station was proven to have distributed subsidized fuel using jerry cans without an official recommendation letter.
