Amazing! ASN In Prabumulih Eat Blind Salaries, Skipping Work For 10 Years

PraBUMULIH The Prabumulih City Government, South Sumatra, was rocked by shocking news that a state civil servant (ASN) was known to have been absent from work for 10 years without being detected. These findings surfaced in a joint surprise inspection (sidak) conducted by the Regional Inspectorate and the local BKPSDM.

Sidak, who targeted the offices, sub-districts and sub-districts, dismantled six rogue ASNs, with different levels of violation. The worst case, an ASN who served in the Education Office was proven not to have been working for a full decade.

"The range varies, some are two years, three years, and one ASN is up to 10 years. The reason we received was the majority due to illness," said the Head of the Regional Inspectorate, Indra Kehalia, Tuesday, May 6.

Responding to these findings, the Mayor of Prabumulih H. Arlan and Deputy Mayor Franky Nasril immediately acted quickly. They led an employee rally and instructed a large-scale follow-up inspection to eradicate the practice of ghost ASN eating blind salaries.

"For sanctions, we are waiting for the mayor's decision. Please go to the BKPSDM for detailed information," said Indra. Currently, the 10-year-old ASN is in the process of permanent dismissal.

Deputy Mayor Franky also strongly criticized the behavior of ASN who were not disciplined. This is not a good time. Lazy ASN must be ready to accept the consequences. There is no place for those who are not disciplined," he said.

Of the six ASNs who were caught, two came from the kelurahan and four others from the service agency. The municipal government is committed to making this case a momentum for ASN disciplinary reform in Prabumulih.
