SINGKAWANG - Singkawang City Government (Pemkot) has arrested illegal racing actors who are troubling the people in the area to participate in state defense briefing in Rindam XII/Tanjungpura, West Kalimantan.
"This briefing was given to those who have been secured by the Singkawang Police Traffic Unit a few days ago. They will certainly take part in the state defense briefing program at Rindam XII Tanjungpura," said Singkawang Mayor Tjhai Chui Mie in Singkawang, Saturday.
The briefing, he said, was a step to provide guidance to those (excitement racing actors) who were very disturbing to the local city community.
"We will collect data on them to be included in the state defense briefing program in Rindam XII/Tpr," he said.
These teenagers will take part in coaching guided by the TNI, Polres and Singkawang City Government.

He said this program was not to provide military exercises, but to form discipline and change the mindset for illegal racing actors.
"These children will later stay at Camp Rindam while undergoing a state defense briefing program," he said.

Meanwhile, Commander Rindam XII/Tanjungpura Colonel Inf Aliyatin Mahmudi stated that he was ready to support the program.
