Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin encouraged collaboration between the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of ATR/BPN to accelerate waqf land certification in the region.
"We want the order to be carried out, both in mosques, prayer rooms, and Islamic boarding schools. So we encourage it, if it is waqf land, the certification process must be moved," he said, in Semarang, Saturday.
This was conveyed during the Gathering and Halalbihalal event with the theme "Ngumpulke Balung Separates NU Residents" at SMA Nasima Internasional, Semarang.
According to him, the arrangement of waqf assets cannot be done partially, but requires coordination across ministries.
"But this cannot run alone, there must be coordination between the Ministry of Religion and ATR/BPN," said the figure who is familiarly called Gus Yasin.

He explained that many Nazhirs or mosque managers and foundations do not yet understand the administrative requirements to obtain waqf certificates.
Therefore, he asked the Ministry of Religion to accelerate assistance so that the process at the Ministry of ATR/BPN would not be hampered.
"The administrators of the mosque or foundation need to know what is needed to process the certificate. We have conveyed it to the Ministry of Religion to accompany it, so that the waqf certificate can be issued immediately. After that, it will only be sent to ATR," he said.
He emphasized that the Central Java Provincial Government is ready to bridge communication between the two ministries so that the waqf land certification process runs in an orderly manner and there are no disputes.
In addition to highlighting the issue of waqf land, Gus Yasin also mentioned the potential of the sharia economy in Central Java, which according to him has not been maximized, even though, nationally the growth reached 17 percent
"We have not carried out the potential optimally. If there is land belonging to Muslim entrepreneurs, we are ready to help in terms of licensing and its designation. We want it to be cooperated," he said.
Sharia economic growth, he said, could be boosted by collaborating with each other, one example at the Kudus Regency Logung Dam where land is allowed by the River Basin Center (BBWS) for community economic activities.
"Things like this can be used better through synergy," he said.
