Hajj Pilgrims From South Sumatra Receive Living Cost 750 Riyals

JAKARTA - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of South Sumatra ensures that all pilgrims from the region receive a living cost or a living fee of 750 riyals.

The Head of the South Sumatra Ministry of Religion, Syafitri Irwan, said that upon arrival in the Hajj dormitory hall, the Hajj pilgrims underwent the admission process. Starting from providing accommodation documents, identity bracelets, living costs of 750 riyals to medical equipment.

"Congregants also received the final health check facilities carried out by the Palembang Embarkation PPIH health team," he said.

Kakanwil juga menekankan bahwa PPIH Embarkasi Palembang telah menyiapkan berbagai aspek pelayanan, mulai dari akomodasi, konsumsi, pembinaan, hingga pelayanan kesehatan untuk menjaminkan kelancaran proses embarkasi jemaah.

"We are committed to providing the best service according to the standard operating procedures set by the Ministry of Religion," he said, quoting Antara.

Public Relations of PPIH Palembang Embarkation Abdul Qudus added that the live cost 750 riyal program is a facility for all pilgrims from Indonesia.

"In South Sumatra, it is certain that all pilgrims will receive the facility," he said.

He added that his party began receiving the first batch of pilgrims on May 2, 2025 and will depart from May 3, 2025 to May 29, 2025 through Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin International Airport II Palembang.

The departure uses a fleet of Saudi Airlines aircraft type airbus series 330 with a capacity of 370 people.
