Ahead Of The Departure Of The Congregation, BP Haji Checks Hotel Facilities To Medical Centers

JAKARTA - Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Hajj), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, ensures the readiness of services for Indonesian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. He saw firsthand the hotel, kitchen, and health service offices in Makkah.

The review was carried out as a form of support in the operation of the pilgrimage this year 1446 Hijri.

"Overall, 204 hotels are provided for the congregation in Makkah, and around 90 hotels in Medina in Medina. We make sure all of these hotels are ready to serve the congregation," he said in his statement, quoted on Sunday, April 27.

The first hotel he visited was in the Syisyah area, namely the Emaar Al Diyafa Hotel which will accommodate 2,500 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims while in Makkah.

He also continued to visit the Rabieh Hijazi Hotel which will be a place to live around 380 pilgrims, namely one flying group or group. The Syisyah area is confirmed to be one of the main accommodation areas for Indonesian pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.

After reviewing the accommodation, Dahnil saw Kitchen Bin Marta in the Jabal Nur area, Makkah. This kitchen is one of the providers that will serve consumption needs for Indonesian pilgrims. He checks the readiness of kitchen facilities and quality to ensure the consumption services that will be provided.

This working visit ended with a review of the Indonesian Hajj Health Office (KKHI) in the South Aziziyah area, Makkah. This place has become a health service center for Indonesian pilgrims while in the Holy Land.

"We want to ensure that all services, from accommodation, consumption, to health, are ready with the best quality for the smooth running and comfort of Indonesian pilgrims," concluded Dahnil.

This year, Indonesia received 221,000 hajj quotas, consisting of 201,063 regular pilgrims, 1,572 regional Hajj officers, 685 KBIHU guides, and 17,680 special Hajj pilgrims.

Berdasarkan Rencana Perjalanan Haji (RPH) 1446 Hijri/2025 AD, jemaah haji Indonesia gelombang pertama, akan mulai berangkatkan ke Madinah pada 2 Mei hingga 16 Mei 2025. Wave dua akan berangkat ke Jeddah pada 1731 Mei 2025.
