"Just landed in Rome. A good day in talks and meetings with Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to the deal, and both sides must now meet, at a very high level, to 'fill it'," Trump tweeted in a post on social media platform Truth Social.
"Most of the main points have been approved," Trump added in the tweet.
Trump arrived in Rome on Friday (25/4) night, attending Pope Francis' funeral.
