BENGKULU - Bengkulu Police have arrested PU (17) who killed two minors, namely AR (8) and AB (9) residents of Kampung Melayu District, Bengkulu City.

"Currently we have secured the perpetrators. We are still investigating the motive and chronology of the incident as a whole," said Head of the Bengkulu Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Sujud Alif Yulam Lam in Bengkulu City, Antara, Tuesday, April 22.

The two victims have been missing since last Tuesday, April 15 and were found tied in sacks in two different locations. The perpetrators of Public Works were neighbors of the two victims.

For the discovery of the first body on Sunday afternoon, April 20 in the waters of Muara Jenggalu, Gading Cempaka District, members of the Bengkulu Police and the Bengkulu Police conducted an investigation.

When he was taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Bengkulu City for authentication, there was an inscription on the sack, namely "Ibrahim Tanjung Bengkulu".

With this writing, the police conducted a search and headed to the house of the PU perpetrators who were still living in the same neighborhood as the victims.

Furthermore, on Monday night (21/4), the police searched PU's house and found another sack dumped in the septic tank of the perpetrator's house with the same writing.

Therefore, the perpetrators were immediately taken to the Bengkulu Police for further investigation.

To avoid the possibility of crowds, the perpetrator's family was also secured by the police. The perpetrator's house has been installed with a police line or police line so that local residents do not enter the area.

Previously, the Bengkulu Police also conducted an autopsy on unidentified bodies found by people in the waters of Muara Jenggalu, Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City.

He said the autopsy was carried out at Bhayangkara Hospital to reveal the identity and determine the cause of death of the victim.

This is because the condition of the body found is in a sack filled with stones as a weight.

In addition, the condition of the corpse was damaged, and some of its organs were partially lost due to being eaten by a lizard.

"The first allegation was that because it was put in a sack and there was a weight, it was suspected that there was an attempt to violence until he died," said Bengkulu Police Chief Kombes Pol Sudarno.
