Transjabodetabek Route Alam Sutera-Blok M Will Officially Operate 24 April

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will inaugurate one of the Transjabodetabek routes, namely Alam Sutera-Blok M on Thursday, April 24.

"The governor will directly inaugurate the new route on April 24 which coincides with National Transportation Day," said Special Staff to the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for Public Communication, Cyril totaling Hakim or Chico Hakim to reporters, Friday, April 18.

Before being inaugurated, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno will participate in the follow-up trial of the Alam Sutera-Blok M route which will be held on Monday, April 21.

This trial is part of the preparation for the opening of four new routes that will connect Jakarta with Tangerang, Bekasi, and its surroundings. This activity aims to test the visibility of the route and the potential number of passengers.

In addition to Alam Sutera-Blok M, the Transjabodetabek routes that will be planned to operate are Vida Bekasi-Cawang, Cibubur-Cawang Tourism City, and Binong-Grogol.

"The Deputy Governor of Rano and his staff will take a bus from Blok M to Alam Sutera. Upon arrival in Alam Sutera, Deputy Governor Rano will be greeted by the Deputy Governor of Banten, Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah, as a form of synergy between regions in supporting the development of public transportation," explained Chico.

In addition, Pramono will also free public transportation services in Jakarta such as Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta specifically for women on April 21, 2025.
