Unram Employees Pregnant With KKN Student Become Suspects, NTB Police Called Next Week

NTB - The police will summon an employee of Mataram University (Unram) with the initials S suspected of impregnating a student during a real work college (KKN). S was summoned as a suspect.

"We will summon the person concerned next week to be questioned as a suspect," said Head of the Sub-Directorate for the Reskrimum of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) AKBP Ni Made Pujawati in Mataram, Friday, April 18, as reported by Antara.

He stated that the summons for S who served at the Unram Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) was in the investigation stage.

The determination of S as a suspect has gone through the right legal procedures, starting from examining witnesses, experts, and victims.

"There have been many witnesses. What is clear is that we have examined more than two witnesses and at least two pieces of evidence that strengthens investigators have named S as a suspect," he said.

Regarding the S mode, which is indicated to have sexually harassed, which made the victim pregnant, Pujawati chose not to provide a detailed explanation to the public.

He only said that suspect S had abused his employment status so that he could commit immorality to the victim.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Unram Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS) Joko Jumadi appreciated the steps taken to handle the NTB Regional Police which continued to show progress.

He said that Unram as the reporter in this case was part of the campus commitment to be free from sexual violence.

"So, reporting to the police is Unram's commitment to creating a sexual violence-free campus," said Joko.
