As a follow-up, the sample of fuel suspected of being mixed with water has also been examined at the Central Java Regional Police forensic laboratory. The results of the sample test are estimated to come out within two to three days.
When asked about the possibility of an intentional act from the gas station, the Police Chief gave an answer.
"Later, we can't tell you yet, what is clear is that the test was carried out. The point is that it is still under investigation and handling the Klaten Police," he said.
Previously, a number of motorized vehicle owners admitted that their vehicle had problems with the engine after filling fuel at the 4457429 Trucuk gas station.
Related to this, Pertamina is also conducting an internal investigation.
Area Manager Communication, Relations, &CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java Regional Taufiq Kurniawan said the investigation was carried out on the gas station and the tank car crew who delivered fuel products to the gas station.
