Contraflow Starts To Be Implemented On The Cikampek Toll Road Towards Jakarta

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the discretion of the Police by implementing contraflow traffic engineering at KM 55 to KM 47 towards Jakarta, the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) Toll Road.

"In order to ensure smooth traffic on the Idulfitri 1446 H / 2025 holiday, PT JTT supports the discretion of the Police by implementing contraflow KM 55 to KM 47 towards Jakarta for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at 20.57 WIB," said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paalo in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Currently, the volume of vehicle traffic towards Jakarta on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is being monitored to begin to increase.

"We urge Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, prepare themselves before entering trips on toll roads," said Ria.

Toll road users are also advised to ensure that they are in top condition, ensure adequacy of power, fuel and electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the field.

PT JTT as the manager of the Trans Java toll road optimizes operational services at two main toll gates, namely the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) of the Batang-Semarang Toll Road and GT Cikampek Utama Jalan Tol Jakarta-Cikampek in order to anticipate the peak of backflow during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H / Lebaran 2025 holiday period.

GT Kalikangkung has prepared a total of 27 transaction points that will be opened on standby during the backflow period and at GT Cikampek Utama, an additional 5 substations have been prepared at GT Cikampek Utama 8 which will be operated situationally when there is an increase in traffic on backflow.

During the implementation of traffic engineering such as one way, there are a total of 36 transaction points at GT Cikampek Utama that can be operated to support smooth traffic flow. PT JTT always ensures that the condition of the transaction service point functions optimally.

Ria explained the readiness of gates and toll booths to remain optimal in the face of the backflow of the Lebaran 2025 holiday.

"Before the return flow period for the Lebaran 2025 holiday, we have ensured the readiness of operational services including on call personnel in all JTT Group sections so that they support all major toll gates on the Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road to operate 100 percent," he said.

In addition to optimizing the toll gate, a widening has also been carried out on the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road section at KM 207+010 to KM 209+010.

This is to increase road capacity and anticipate potential congestion in rest areas, especially in Rest Area KM 207 A and Rest Area KM 208 B.
