Head of Malang Yunengsih Class II A Women's Prison in Malang City, said the remission given was a form of appreciation to the inmates because they were able to show a change in attitude towards a better direction.

"This mission is a motivation for the inmates because they continue to do good and follow the coaching process with full responsibility. So this is only a matter of reducing the sentence," said Yunengsih, quoted by ANTARA.

Yunengsih reminded hundreds of inmates in his leadership prison who had received remissions to continue to participate in the coaching program, besides that they also behaved well in the community when they were free.

"So that the inmates can reintegrate well in the community later after they are released," he said.

In addition, the ranks of the Class II A Malang Women's Prison carried out halal bihalal activities as a step to strengthen the relationship with the inmates.

It is hoped that the moment of Eid al-Fitr will be able to create harmony in the prison environment.
