Lithuanians said rescue teams had found armored vehicles belonging to four US troops missing last week sinking into peat swamps in military training areas in the Baltic country.
The defense ministry said Lithuanian military police and US investigators were still working at the site.
The soldiers and their vehicles went missing at the Pabrade training ground near the border with Belarus.
"We will remain patient and focused as they gather more information about this situation," he said via X.
A massive search and rescue operation was launched on March 25. The day after, the vehicle was found at a depth of more than 5 meters.
