38 Prisoners Of Eid Prayers At The KPK Mosque Today

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held the Eid al-Fitr prayer 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri today, Monday, March 31. A total of 38 out of 49 prisoners in the rasuah case participated.

"The Eid Al-Fitr prayer 1 Syawal 1446 Hijri for KPK Prisoners on March 31, 2025 (implemented, ed) at the KPK Mosque in the Red and White building," said KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo in a written statement quoted on Monday, March 31.

Of that number, continued Budi, 22 detainees live in the KPK branch detention center of the Merah Putih building. "Meanwhile, 16 detainees occupy the KPK branch detention center building C1," he said.

Budi called the implementation of this Eid prayer as a fulfillment of the basic rights of prisoners. They are welcome to carry out worship activities according to their religion and beliefs.

After the Eid prayer, Budi said, the prisoners had the opportunity to be visited at the detention center. Family and relatives are welcome to attend March 31-1 April from 09.00 WIB until 12.00 WIB.

"KPK also opened food delivery services for detainees on March 31-1 April 2025 from 08.30 to 10.00 WIB," he explained.

"The entire series of services by the KPK Branch Detention Center is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and regulations, especially in the management of detention centers," concluded Budi.
