TMII Targets 120 Thousand Visitors During Eid Holidays

JAKARTA - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) East Jakarta targets a total of 120 thousand visitors from March 31 to April 6, 2025.

"Our target for visitors in this year's Eid al-Fitr is 120,000 people, growing by around 25-30 percent compared to last year," said TMII President Director Intan Ayu Kartika when confirmed, Friday, March 28.

Intan said that to achieve this target TMII had prepared various main events to welcome Eid al-Fitr 2025, including the Torch Parade on the Takbiran night with a route from the Plaza Promenade to Plaza Kori Agung.

The Bazar Oase Nusantara presents a variety of typical Indonesian culinary delights, Cultural Attractions such as Kecak Dance, Stone Jump, Lumping Horse, Sisingaan, Soul of Youth at Plaza Kori Agung, Explore Museum Night at the Indonesian Museum and Pusaka Museum.

The children's and people's games are spread across several regional platforms, the first Ria Jakarta at Plaza Lokomotif, and the Eid Sendung with Shaky Town Band which will bring the atmosphere of Eid to life.

"Hopefully it will be achieved with a variety of interesting activities that can be enjoyed by all visitors who are Eid in Jakarta and tourists from outside Jakarta who are on vacation here and their families," he said.

In addition, TMII also provides free entry access for people who will carry out Ied Prayers at Plaza Kong Emas on Monday, March 31. TMII operating hours during this event period start at 06.00 WIB-20.00 WIB with access through gates 1, 3, and 4.

"On Lebaran Day, there will be an Ied Prayer at Plaza Kong Emas, and free entry for the public starting at 05.00 WIB-07.00 WIB, as well as vehicle parking discounts," he said.

Furthermore, Intan said, TMII also provides 36 typical Nusantara culinary delights at the Nusantara Foodcourt, as well as an additional 100 culinary bazaar tenants spread across three main points.

Then there is an increase in the number of mobile transportation (angling) from 30 to 42 units and one unit of electric buses for transportation within the area.

"We also have the provision of four free shuttle units from LRT TMII Station to TMII and vice versa," he said.
