Traffic engineering in the form of one lane contraflow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek has been extended over police discretion. Initially, contraflow was enforced from KM 55 to KM 70 at 23.10 WIB. However, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supported its extension from KM 47 to KM 70 from 00.15 WIB.

With the increasing volume of vehicles heading to Cikampek on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, the police have decided to extend the contraflow. PT JTT is ready to support this policy to reduce the density of traffic flow," said VP Corporate Secretary and Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paalo, in Jakarta on Friday.

As the homecoming flow increases, PT JTT urges road users to plan trips well. Make sure the vehicle is in prime condition, the electronic money balance is sufficient, and the fuel is fully charged before leaving. In addition, travelers are advised to bring provisions to avoid congestion in the rest area.

As part of efforts to unravel congestion, PT JTT also implemented one way traffic engineering from KM 70 on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 210 on the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road. This policy was implemented by the police to facilitate the flow of homecoming during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H/2025 holiday.

Based on monitoring data from PT JTT, 282,994 vehicles passed to the East Trans Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) in the period H-10 to D-5 Lebaran (21-26 March). This figure shows an increase of 72.1 percent compared to normal traffic conditions ranging from 164,445 vehicles.

With this increase in the volume of vehicles, road users are advised to remain vigilant, follow traffic signs, and comply with the directions of officers in the field to ensure safe and smooth travel.
