JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has finally started distributing social assistance to meet basic needs (PKD), namely the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), and Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ) for the period of January, February, and March 2025.
The disbursement of the PKD social assistance which was carried out ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H has been eagerly awaited by residents who have received assistance for the past few years. They often ask questions about the disbursement of social assistance on the DKI Provincial Government's social media accounts.
"Today, the Provincial Government together with the Jakarta DPRD handed over social assistance to fulfill basic needs to support the welfare of the community. So we provide 3 (types of assistance)," said Pramono at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta, Tuesday, March.
The total number of PKD social assistance beneficiaries for the first phase of 2025 was 147,304 people. The details include 117,784 KLJ recipients for residents aged at least 60 years, 15,203 KAJ recipients for children aged 0 6 years, and 14,317 KPDJ recipients for those experiencing physical, intellectual, mental, and sensory limitations.
The amount of social assistance for each KLJ, KAJ, and KPDJ recipient is IDR 300,000 per month. Pramono said the aid target was residents who were registered in the integrated social welfare data (DTKS).
"The reference is DTKS, this is what is used as a reference, then apart from DTKS, data from Dukcapil as well. Now we are making improvements to the data collection and together with the Jakarta DPRD," explained Pramono.
