Bali Police Seize 1,400 Solar From Perpetrators Of Millki 10 Barcodes In Klungkung

The Bali Regional Police's Criminal Investigation Directorate confiscated 1,400 liters of bio solar from the perpetrators of misuse of subsidized fuel which has 10 barcodes in Gunaksa Village, Klungkung Regency, Bali.

Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) of the Bali Police Kombes Roy HM Sihombing said a man with the initials KA from Lombok, NTB was named a suspect in the case.

As for the modus operandi, the perpetrator modified the box car tank which was connected to the reservoir.

"The modus operandi of the suspect KA buys Bio Solar fuel which is a fuel subsidized by the Government at gas stations using a black Mitsubishi minikel L-300 box car that has been modified with a suction pump," said Roy, Monday, March 24.

The pump connects the car's tanks with two water reservoirs each with a capacity of more than 1,000 liters placed in the car.

According to Roy's statement, the Bio Solar fuel that has been accommodated in the water tendons will be resold with a profit of IDR 1,000/liter.

To investigators, KA admitted that it had only been two days of carrying out these activities.

To smooth out the action, the perpetrator paid a gas station employee with the initials W and AS for a fee of Rp. 10,000 to Rp. 15 thousand per charge.

The 10 barcodes held by the perpetrators were used alternately to comply with the maximum number of limits for filling subsidized fuel. The police are still investigating the ownership of the barcode.

Currently, W and AS are still witnesses, while KA has been named a suspect and detained at the Bali Police Detention Center.

KA was charged with Article 55 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas Earth with a maximum imprisonment of six years and a maximum fine of IDR 60 billion.
