JAKARTA - A white Toyota Alphard luxury car with number B 1 KMN ringsek after being hit by a fallen tree on Jalan Pesanggrahan, RT 10/05, North Meruya, Kembangan District, West Jakarta, Friday, March 21.

"The cause is suspected to be a dead tree and not strong enough to withstand the wind. One four-wheeled vehicle and one two-wheeled vehicle were hit by a tree," said Head of DKI Jakarta BPBD, Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI, Friday, March 21, evening.

Apart from vehicles, one resident was also hit by a tree trunk and suffered injuries.

"One injured victim has been taken to Siloam Hospital. The identity of the victim is not yet known," he said.

As a result of this incident, the loss of damaged vehicles cannot be estimated. Meanwhile, the fallen tree was caused because the tree trunk had dried up.

"The evacuation process has been carried out. The tree has been stopped and transported by the Parks and Forestry Sub-dept. Meanwhile, the road access, which was closed, can be passed for 2 directions of the vehicle," he said.
