West Jakarta Metro Police confiscated 1,600 cartons with a total of 19,200 MinyaKita packages from the results of raids at an industrial factory in Kavling DKI, Jalan Ulim, Number 11, North Meruya, Kembangan, West Jakarta. A total of 19,200 MinyaKita packages were confiscated as evidence.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi said the raids were arrested by two suspects with the initials RS and IH. Both are the President Director and factory operators.

"It is suspected that in the process of packing the size of 1 liter, PT Jaya Batavia Globalindo filled it not according to the packaging weight, but only 800 mL to 850 mL filled," said Kombes Twedi when confirmed, Wednesday, March 19.

According to him, the disclosure was made after reports of residents who felt aggrieved by the sale of Minya Kita which did not match the dose.

During the search, the police secured a number of pieces of evidence. Starting from filling machines, seller machines, packaging machines, to oil tanks of various sizes, namely 1,000 liters and 5,000 liters.

In addition, the police also secured a number of weight cards related to sending Minya Kita to various areas in Jabodetabek.

It is known that the letter was sent by the two suspects to a number of drivers from March 10, 2025 to March 8, 2025.

On average, RS and IH suspects deliver 200 - 800 cartons every one road.

In addition, the police also found 10,000 unused boxes of Minya Kita.

For their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Law Number 3 of 2014 concerning the Industry Article 120 with a maximum imprisonment of 5 years and a maximum fine of 3 billion rupiah.

Furthermore, the two perpetrators were also subject to Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection Article 62 paragraph 1 letter A, B, C. They face a maximum sentence of 5 years or a maximum fine of IDR 2 billion.
