Hamas Calls For Global Demonstration Against Israel's Advanced Genocide

JAKARTA - Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Tuesday called for protests and global protests over the resumption of Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Senior Hamas official Izzat Al-Rishq called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as people who love freedom around the world, "to take to the streets and squares, voicing their rejection of the resumption of the Zionist genocide war against the Gaza people."

He called Israel's Chief Authority Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to continue the war in Gaza "is the decision to sacrifice prisoners of occupation and the death penalty against them."

Al-Rishq called on the mediators and world leaders to reveal the truth about Israel's actions and hold Netanyahu accountable for re-triggering the conflict.

"The military pressure and the brutal aggression of the Zionists will not succeed in breaking the will of the people and our resistance," said the Hamas official.

Gaza's local government previously said more than 322 Palestinians were killed or missing after Israel resumed a deadly attack on Gaza, violating a ceasefire agreement that took effect on January 19.

Israeli troops on Tuesday morning said they carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, the largest since the ceasefire with the Palestinian Hamas group took effect on January 19.

They claim to have attacked the points of the Hamas group in Gaza. However, images emerging from Gaza show that the majority of the victims were civilians, including children and women, whose houses were bombed at night.

Despite the ceasefire, local authorities in Gaza have reported abuses almost daily by the Israeli army.
