Edy added that in the second day of search on Friday, March 14, 10 fishing boats and one rubber boat were deployed in the search for victims. The search was carried out by team at the last location where the victim was reported to have been dragged by the currents of the river and its surroundings.

"We are also conducting searches and monitoring using drone aircraft," he said.

Not only that, he continued, the search was also carried out by diving at the mouth of the river by fishermen by the joint SAR Team consisting of the TNI-Polri, Basarnas, the community, the families of the victims and local village staff.

He said that the day before the incident there was heavy rain in Golo Sepang Village and around Boleng District which resulted in overflowing river water.

"Information from eyewitnesses at that time the victim was tying the rope of his boat, but due to the swift flow of flooding in the river so that the victim was carried away by the current," he said.

After receiving the report, he continued, the SAR Team immediately conducted a search with residents.
