Rain Criticism Of The Former Ngada Police Chief, AKBP Fajar, NTT Police Chief: My Materials Are Introspection

East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Silitonga spoke up regarding the public's heavy criticism of drug and immoral cases involving former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja.

He assessed that the criticism conveyed by the public for the actions of members of the Bhayangkara Corps was still within reasonable limits.

"The criticism conveyed is an ingredient for me to further introspect," said Inspector General Daniel in Kupang, NTT, Thursday, March 13, quoted by Antara.

Daniel also asked why the negative incident carried out by the former Ngada Police Chief had to occur in East Nusa Tenggara.

In fact, according to him, he has carried out strict supervision of the Police Chief-Kapolres who are on duty in all jurisdictions of the NTT Police.

Even the two-star commander has asked Irwasda, Dirintel and other NTT Police officers to also help oversee the police chiefs in NTT

"I asked the Head of Propam for video calls one by one, to know where they are. I asked for a video call from the Police Chief's wife as well," said Daniel.

What he ordered, he continued, was the same thing to him.

"What I ordered was because I had digitized it too," said Daniel.

Daniel added that the NTT Regional Police would evaluate every official in the jurisdiction of the NTT Regional Police, including officers on duty at the Resort Police.

"The events that occurred, he said, were important lessons for me, which so far have not been too strict or have not been too effective and intensive, so I will do what is more effective and more intensive," he said.
