Ahok Examined By The Attorney General's Office On Pertamina, Dasco: Commissioners Receive Reports And Audit Results

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, commented on the examination of the former President Commissioner (Komut) of Pertamina, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok at the Attorney General's Office on Thursday, March 13, yesterday. During the examination, Ahok was surprised that there were irregularities and suspicious flow of funds in Pertamina.

According to Dasco, Ahok should have known all the contents of Pertamina's report and audit. Because it is the authority and work as Komut.

"Yes, I think as a commissioner, I then received reports. Then the results of the audit that have been carried out," said Dasco after reviewing Oilita at Kramat Jati Market, Jakarta, Friday, March 14.

Dasco assessed that Ahok should also monitor the entire ongoing inspection and audit process. So that he does not only receive good reports from Pertamina.

"Well, of course, the current condition must then be checked again on how during the examination process, what is the audit process if there are elements that are currently happening," said the daily chairman of Gerindra.

It is known, the former President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, underwent an examination for almost 10 hours at the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

Ahok was examined as a witness in the alleged corruption case of crude oil management and refinery products at Pertamina Subholding and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS) for the period 2018-2023.

Ahok arrived at the Kartika building at around 08.23 WIB wearing brown batik. The inspection was only completed at 18.25 WIB, Thursday, March 13.

"It turns out that the Attorney General's Office has more data than I know. I was also surprised when I was told there were frauds, irregularities, and suspicious transfers," Ahok said after the examination.

He emphasized that as the main commissioner, his job is only to monitor and examine financial reports and the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP).

"The subholding reached operations, while I only reached RKAP monitoring and profit and loss. While I was there, Pertamina continued to record profits," he added.

Ahok revealed that the long duration of his examination was not due to debate with investigators, but because he was asked to provide information for nine suspects in this case. "I was examined for a long time because I had to provide information for nine suspects," he said.
