The Secretary General of the PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto, stated that the indictment file prepared by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) is a recycled product of a case that has permanent legal force.

This statement was made by Hasto before undergoing the first trial of the alleged interim bribery case (PAW) for members of the DPR and the obstruction of the investigation.

"I have read carefully, carefully on the indictment and almost all of them are recycled products. So all of them are recycled products for a case that already has permanent legal force or inkrah," Hasto told reporters at the Central Jakarta District Court, Friday, March 14.

In fact, it is said that the indictment file has manipulated many legal facts. Dozens of testimonies are said to have been deliberately made to support the occurrence of criminal acts.

"There are so many manipulations of legal facts. At least a minimum of 20 statements are deliberately made different between the indictment and the testimony of witnesses and the court's decision that has been signed," said Hasto.

On some of these grounds, Hasto said that the case against him was a form of criminalization. In fact, claiming to be a political prisoner.

"My attitude remains unchanged that what happened was a form of legal criminalization because of the interests of power beyond it. So I am a political prisoner," said Hasto.

Hasto Kristiyanto is known to have been named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the alleged bribery case between time and time (PAW) that ensnared former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan and his fugitive, Harun Masiku.

Not only Hasto, the KPK also named Donny Tri Istiqomah, who is a PDIP cadre and a lawyer as a suspect.

In the development of case handling, Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the hand arrest operation (OTT) was carried out.
