Police: Former Ngada Police Chief Spreads Child Porn Videos To Dark Web

JAKARTA - The National Police are starting to investigate the former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman who uploaded or distributed child pornography video content to the dark web.

Director of Cyber Crime at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji said the investigation of the allegation was by checking the cellphone belonging to AKBP Fajar Widyadharma.

"The act in question is to create pornographic video content for children using cellphones and transmit or make the content accessible through the child's website or pornographic forum on the dark web," Himawan told reporters, Thursday, March 13.

The upload of pornographic content certainly makes content accessible to anyone who is a member of the dark web forum.

Himawan said there were three cellphones that would be examined regarding the allegation. The goal is to obtain authentic evidence that can be scientifically tested or scientific crime investigation.

"The examination of three mobile phones that are evidence will be carried out at the Digital Forensic Laboratory of the Directorate of Cyber Crime, Bareskrim Polri, to fulfill scientific investigations or scientific crime investigations," he said.

The act of spreading child pornography video content violates Article 45 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 52 Paragraph 1 of the Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008.

The article regulates information and electronic transactions that read that everyone intentionally and without the right to broadcast, show them, distribute, transmit and or make accessible electronic information and or electronic documents that have content that violates decency to be known to the public.

"With the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 6 years and/or a maximum fine of Rp. 1 billion, as well as a one-third of the basic sentence because it involves decency or sexual exploitation of children," said Himawan.

Previously reported, AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman, was declared to have molested four women. Based on the results of the examination, three of them were minors.

"It was found that the FLS had sexually harassed a minor as many as three people and one adult," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.

For the three children who were molested by AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman, they were 6, 13 and 16 years old. Meanwhile, the other is said to be 20 years old with the initials EHDR.

Then the follow-up to be carried out is to hold a trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) which is planned for Monday, March 17, 2025.
