JAKARTA - The National Police are starting to investigate the former Ngada Police Chief AKBP Fajar Widyadharma Lukman who uploaded or distributed child pornography video content to the dark web.

Director of Cyber Crime at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji said the investigation of the allegation was by checking the cellphone belonging to AKBP Fajar Widyadharma.

"The act in question is to create pornographic video content for children using cellphones and transmit or make the content accessible through the child's website or pornographic forum on the dark web," Himawan told reporters, Thursday, March 13.

The upload of pornographic content certainly makes content accessible to anyone who is a member of the dark web forum.

Himawan said there were three cellphones that would be examined regarding the allegation. The goal is to obtain authentic evidence that can be scientifically tested or scientific crime investigation.

"The examination of three mobile phones that are evidence will be carried out at the Digital Forensic Laboratory of the Directorate of Cyber Crime, Bareskrim Polri, to fulfill scientific investigations or scientific crime investigations," he said.
