JAKARTA - Gunmen stormed a hotel in the city of Baladweyne in Somalia. Reportedly the siege is still ongoing.
Reported by Reuters on Tuesday, March 11, Dahir Amin Jesow, a federal lawmaker from Baladweyne, said the attack resulted in four people being killed.
"But we are still counting the victims," he said.
It is not clear who carried out the attack on the Qahira hotel, although Islamist militant group al Shabaab often launched bombings and gun attacks in the African Horn country.
