Prabowo Gets Pandawara Group To Overcome Waste Problems From Upstream To Downstream

JAKARTA - Presiden Prabowo Subianto berencana menggandeng kelompok pemuda peduli lingkungan, Pandawara Group, untuk mengadakan aktivitas besar guna mengatasi persoalan kelola sampah di Indonesia.

This was conveyed by a member of the Pandawara Group, Gilang Rahma, after meeting with President Prabowo at the Indonesian Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11.

"So, there is one activity with a massive scale that really aims to solve the problem of waste from upstream to downstream. That's just the outline," said Gilang.

When asked about the possibility of collaboration with President Prabowo, Gilang emphasized that the massive movement would be dedicated by the Pandawara Group to answer environmental and waste issues in Indonesia.

He said that his party would have totality in holding large-scale activities in order to overcome the waste problem.

"We really want all out and totality for the Indonesian waste problem. A movement, God willing," he said.

During the meeting, Gilang revealed that President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the social movement by the group of five youths from Bandung in dealing with waste problems in Indonesia.

Gilang assessed that the President's appreciation was an additional motivation so that they could continue to serve the country, especially in dealing with waste problems.

The Pandawara meeting with the President, said Gilang, took place quite suddenly. However, President Prabowo advised the Pandawara Group to remain committed and not discouraged in carrying out its mission.

"The President's special request continues, commitment, that's number one of course. He also said that we are not tired of anything that happens in the future like that," said Gilang.
